From the architect. A modern and professional `SPOT studios` is the first photo studio in Latvia, which has created a water studio. It`s located inside Panorama Plaza, multifunctional building complex.

‘Light’ is the starting point for the design concept, to connect the interior with the company’s branding concept. The interior emphasizes the presence of light in various forms. As the studio has no direct access to daylight, designer used different lighting and shapes – robust spotlights, tube lights, light bulb strings and daylight bulbs – to achieve a dynamic light flow.

The interior is decked out with a combination of uncommon and contrasting finishes: drop paper with brutal concrete, lightweight plastic with heavy metals, transparent glass with thick vinyl rubber, and synthetic foil reflectors with natural wood. The choice of the materials and furniture pieces used for the interior had to be considered carefully as each room in the studio needed a good solution to be functional, mobile and easily transformable.

The interior is dominated by white a tone – which corresponds to the associative color of light – and accented by spot colors, from candy floss pink to electric yellow. This creates a bright and clean atmosphere. Stone white, milk white and shades of brilliant white all reflect the various color tones, creating a contemporary and bright space.
