From the architect. The former warehouse in the historical centre of Amersfoort and its extension are renewed to a modern office.
The interior of the warehouse is renovated and the extension is replaced with a new building. In shape and size the extension validates the historical urban context.
The architecture of OOK, which can be described as basic with special care for detail, reflects in the choice of material and minimalistic detailing.
Because of the use of Corten steel the extension now blends in perfectly in its surroundings due to the oxidizing of the steel.
